GSSF Match Directors - Belton Gun Club
- Opportunity to learn about and experience GSSF stages
- Beginners, this is the perfect place to learn about competitive shooting
- "GSSF Orientation" is a tool we are using to introduce new GSSF competitors so they will know about and be ready to compete at the Belton Blast GSSF match that will be held at Belton Gun Club, May 18-19, 2024. For the Orientation, any brand of handgun will be allowed. A regular GSSF match does require using a Glock to compete and a GSSF membership.
- Popular match for all ages, youth to super seniors and popular with Ladies and Gentleman.
- No fee to attend orientation
- Open to the public. Belton Gun Club and GSSF memberships not required for the Orientation class.
- handgun (unloaded)
- handgun must be properly stored
- in a pistol case/bag
- or in a holster (slide locked back and unloaded)
- Ammo (Bring what you want to shoot. Class time, you just need enough to experience the two stages.)
- Standard gun, at least 110 rounds (for a GSSF match)
- Pocket pistol, at least 70 rounds (for a GSSF match)
- If time allows, we will let participants practice more.
- Magazines
- For a standard GSSF match you should have at least 4 magazines for it or someone that can load an extra magazine. But, for Orientation you can bring what magazines you have.
- Hearing and eye protection (required)
